Coast Electric members are invited to attend the cooperative’s Annual Meeting on Thursday, Nov. 3 at the Kiln Headquarters location on Hwy. 603. As a not-for-profit cooperative business, those who receive service from Coast Electric are members and owners of the company. The Annual Meeting and voting process are benefits of co-op membership as they give those served by the company the opportunity to elect company leadership.
Registration for the meeting will begin at 5 p.m. and the business meeting will start promptly at 6:30 p.m. Various booths will highlight company programs and employees will be on hand to answer any questions members may have.
Those who attend will also have the opportunity to win door prizes and credits on their Coast Electric bill. There will be one drawing for a $250 bill credit, one for a $500 credit and one lucky member will win a $1,000 credit on their Coast Electric bill.
Those who are unable to attend may register by proxy in one of Coast Electric’s office locations or by sending in the proxy card that was mailed to their homes earlier this month. Those who register by proxy will also be entered into a separate drawing electricity credits.
We hope to see you all on Nov. 3!
