Coast Electric will host members on Thursday, Nov. 2 at the cooperative’s Kiln Headquarters building for the Annual Meeting and Member Appreciation Night. Registration begins at 5 p.m. and the business meeting will be called to order at 6:30 p.m. Members in attendance will have the opportunity to visit various booths before the business meeting begins to learn about Coast Electric services and programs. Members will also vote on board representatives at the meeting and are eligible for door prizes and electricity credits of up to $1,000.
Members who are unable to attend can vote via proxy for their board representatives. Annual Meeting notices and proxy cards were mailed to members’ homes in early October and members may also vote at any Coast Electric office. The last day for proxy voting is Friday, Oct. 27. Those voting by proxy are also eligible for electricity credits of up to $1,000.
Being an active member is essential to any cooperative. Coast Electric relies on member participation and feedback. All members are encouraged to attend the meeting or vote via proxy if they are unable to come. We hope to see you all Nov. 2!
