Levelized payment plan is a program for residential customers that allows you to pay approximately the same amount on your electric bill each month. Under this plan, the amount you pay each month is based on an average of your actual monthly consumption for a one year period. To qualify, you only need to have had power at this address for no less than 12 months.

To calculate your average monthly payment amount, we take the current month's usage and add it to the last 11 months of usage. We then divide divide by 12 to arrive at your average monthly usage. The average monthly usage is then calculated at the current electric rate schedule to arrive at your average monthly payment amount. Once twelfth of the deferred charge is added or subtracted from the yearly average bill. The deferred charge is the difference between the amounts you have been billed and the amounts you have paid.
